The Latest Toilet Developments

I was quite sick this weekend, much of it spent in a bathroom (if you know what I mean), which I mention only to say that I’ve been thinking quite a bit about toilets recently. Especially after I read this New York Times article.

In a city where anything is available and everything has a price, I find it no oddity that Madison Square Garden is the proud new owner of a set of out door pay toilets. Widely reported in the local press, these for-profit establishments are self cleaning and even include pyramid-shaped glass skylights. I hope to mosy down to one and post a video of the experience.

Don’t worry, I won’t film that part.
