Graphic Politics

Politics are a part of my life. Apart from the fact that I work for the government, I pay taxes, expect a social security check when I retire, and often foolishly hope that I am protected from corporate avarice just like you.

This is not and will not become a Political Opinion blog, (there are plenty of those for you to go and enjoy here) but I wonder if not commenting on the ongoing political process is a bit artifical. I will stop well short of endorsing a candidate (I think) and actually I won’t even mention the presidential race in any direct way in this post.

Many of you being thoughtful people, I thought you might enjoy a graphical analysis of the State of The Union address from last night. It shows the progression in topical emphasis over the last seven years. Pretty neat stuff.
